Blogging is bad.

Yeah right!!!

I have to admit, as a relatively new blogger (although I did the whole blogging thing with my Friendster and Multiply accounts, as well as in a brief stint with Blogspot), I am still reeling in amazement about how this whole thing works (OMFG…I can just imagine you laughing as you read this…that sounded so flakey!). Talagang nachachallenge and IQ ko, pati EQ pa minsan. Half the time I don’t know what I’m doing, the other half naman di kaya ng powers ko gawin yung kailangan ko gawin. Hirap ng technologically-challenged!!! Thankfully I have a friend who I can kulit all the time with my stupid questions,  kahit na ba tinawanan niya ako kanina about the help message I sent to the i.ph help forum Evil, evil, evil!!!

Anyway, now that I’ve explored the world of blogging, I can’t help but feel relatively idiotic and clueless as I go about figuring this out! It definitely has been a new and exciting challenge…one that’s taken away too much time from the things I HAVE TO DO!! But like that’s gonna stop me!!! Hence my statement, blogging is bad!!!

Shempre kahit bad siya, pwede ba siyang tigilan???

It’s been quite some time since I’ve last gotten uber caught up in something like this: Last time it was figuring out how to download episodes of Grey’s Anatomy and Gossip Girl. The time before that it was trying to understand what the heck torrents were and how to get my damned limewire thingy to work (incidentally, di ko parin get ang torrents. sabi sa inyo nachachallenge IQ ko e!). Now it’s this blogging thing!!!

On the other hand,  blogging has done me a lot of good It is my new guilty pleasure,  especially now that both Grey’s and GG are on hiatus,  it is my haven from the hassles of the day,  and it definitely is something I can look forward to daily.

Here’s a list of what I have learned through this fine art of blogging:

1. Try and try and eventually you’ll succeed. Yes, as cheesy and cliche as this is, I had to embrace this mantra in tryiing to figure out what the heck I’m doing!!!

2. Ask and you shall receive. Self-explanatory. Thank you Ja9!

3. Hindi bawal magkamali. Nakakahiya, sure, but wala namang mangyayari diba? Malamang matatawa lang ang nakapansin.

4. It really is a small, small world thanks to the advent of blogging and online social networks, I have found old friends and made new friends as well.

5. Kaya ng powers ko ‘to! As babaw as it may seem, blogging has made me realize na kahit na nachachallenge IQ ko with this, kaya din ng powers ko ito kahit papano. Pag hindi, refer to #’s 1 and 2!

My next goals include the following: figuring out how to make my posts neater (i.e no giant spaces in between, paragraphs not running together, etc.); building my blog roll (is that what you call it?!? hehe) and social networks; and to go to more blogger events (the first one was the Coke party…post to follow!).  Tips and the like gladly welcome
